I have been doing intensive research for
some years to identify 21 unique habits to share with the world. I want to share unique knowledge with others
to enable them to unlock their hidden potential. I want to identify, compile and share these 21
unique habits through my authored book which is likely to be published in 2015.
Also, I started talking to various experienced people who I meet to identify
these habits. Most times, I acquire triggers during my research and from
participants during my leadership development training programs. However, I
wanted to learn from a few elderly people also as they have rich experience in their
life.
Recently I was coming along with an
elderly person – David in the bus. He was 75 years old who was conducting
classes for engineering students. He was
very keen to talk to me during the journey. I asked him the habits to unlock
human potential. He said that self- confidence is the first habit people must
have. If people are not self-confident, they develop inferiority complex which
stumbles their personality development. He
told to appreciate others’ point of view. Unfortunately, people don’t stick to
their own point of view and argue with others resulting in conflicts. Parents
must practice self-confidence and impart it to their children as it helps children
face challenges squarely. He also added to empathize with others as empathy
will resolve most of the conflicts in the world.
Although these principles are known to
most people, they hardly take them seriously. I decided to share them with you
to enable you to have a fresh perspective to build self-confidence to achieve
great success in your life.
