“If there is one place on the face of
earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest
days when man began the dream of existence, it is India.” – Romain Rolland
Dear brothers and sisters,
Presently, our country is undergoing
many challenges including fundamentalism, regionalism, and casteism which are
grave threats to India’s unity and integrity. We were global leaders once upon
a time during the time of Ashoka and subsequently we failed to assert and grow
globally due to lack of unity among us. We have been attacked by many rulers
and ruled by foreigners. Some of them have assimilated with Indian culture and
became Indians. It is a matter of pride that India is the melting pot for
various religions, races, cultures and communities. As a result, we grew
tremendously individually, not collectively. Hence, there is a need for all of
us to stay united forgetting our differences and work collectively to make
India a great country in the world.
We must shape our students with right
attitude, improve their behavior and develop their personalities to build a
strong nation. In fact, it is time for Indian youth to lead from the front as
they have fire in their bellies, and are very ambitious at the core. They can
definitely lead from front provided there is a right direction to them. Hence,
educators must show the right direction to students to groom them as leaders
with tolerance and fraternity.
Nobody can separate us. Remember the
slogan ‘united we stand and divided we fall’. Let all Indians stand together to
make this nation as a great country in the world. We will take an oath to build
a better India, and India which will be a super power one day. Let us get ready
to sacrifice. Let us stay united. Let us live together and let us die together
to make India as a great country in the world. Jai Hind!
“India is, the cradle of the human
race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of
legend, and the great grand mother of tradition. Our most valuable and most
instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only.” -
Mark Twain
