“Is Education for Employment Only?” - Professor M.S.Rao

“Education is the best friend.  An educated person is respected everywhere.  Education beats the beauty and the youth.” – Chanakya

Indians think that education is only for employment. They must understand that education is basically for empowerment and mostly for enlightenment. It provides you basic strength and support to survive in the world, and teaches you to learn lessons so as to succeed in your life. If you are educated, you become independent and you can do many things by yourself without depending much on others.  It provides you basic confidence and you can survive in any part of the world.  Education serves as a launching pad for your career and life.  It opens the window to the outside world. It helps you stand firmly on your feet and handhold others. It helps you bring the change the way want in others and society.  When you pursue your passionate and other areas other than for employment, and if there are any setbacks, you can take support of education and go for employment.  Hence, education is not for mere employment but for empowerment.  Education is beyond employment and above enlightenment. Remember the words of John F. Kennedy, “The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth.”

“Education will help you in adversity when your passion fails to take you to prosperity.” – Professor M.S.Rao
